Hogg Clinic is a full-service health clinic on the campus of Hogg Middle School. Health services at HHC are provided by a nationally board certified family nurse practitioner, and services are provided at no cost. The purpose of the clinic is to "keep children healthy and in school." HHC is intended for children who do not have medical insurance and are in need of a medical home. HHC serves as a back up provider for children with Medicaid, CHIP, or private insurance when their primary doctor is not available.

2. What services or programs are provided and how? Immunizations, well child & teen physicals, and sports physicals are available. Sick visits and minor injuries such as strep throat, flu, and bladder infections are also accommodated. A dental care van will come 3 times a year to give dental care to the students as well. For pregnancies, the nurse practitioner will only diagnose, confirm, and refer to other agencies. All labs are sent to the Memorial Hermann Diagnostic lab for evaluation.
4. What are the fees and/or eligibility requirements? There is no fee, and the clinic is offered to students enrolled in the schools listed: HISD schools of Browning, Crockett, Field, Hamilton, Harvard, Hogg, and Reagan. However, there needs to be parent consent to be eligible to receive care.

HISD Pregnancy Related Services
Students within HISD are able to enroll in their Pregnancy Related Services. This allows the student to continue their education from home by providing a home education teacher until the student is able to return to school.
